These are photographs of baby Ryan at about 3 months. He was recovering from a recent hernia repair so he wasn’t as comfortable on his belly as other babies of that age.

Photographing newborns and infants doesn’t need a complicated environment and I visited Lorraine at home in Penicuik (near Edinburgh) to shoot these.

Most of these were shot on Lorraine’s bed, with a second set in her living room – all just with natural window light.
