I feel it is worth stating that everything here is my work – mine, all mine (though credit does also go to Fiona as an assistant, the models and make-up artists too).

I’ve been spending time looking at the competition. Occasionally I encounter images I know were taken on tutored workshops (the models, locations and styles are easily recognisable). I don’t think that it’s really honest to use these images as portfolio material – yes, they are the photographer’s own shots, but often so much of it may have been setup by the tutor that in reality anyone in the class could have taken the shot.

So, none of the images here are from workshops where someone else set the scene and setup the lighting. Occasionally, some images will be from some workshops or classes where I’ve been teaching, but those will be rare since I don’t get to shoot much other than some test frames on those occasions.

Using a supplier’s catalogue images (with the images they have licensed from other photographers) for print products is also deceptive.

Good or bad, this is all mine.
