We’ve known Seonaid a long time, so with an impending 21st birthday I offered her a portrait session as our present to her.

I’ve always thought Seonaid was photogenic, but until recently she has suffered from acne (which obviously troubles most sufferers when it comes to being photographed). Now, with a successful treatment and the milestone of her 21st birthday, it was the perfect opportunity for a portrait session.

This was a pretty short session of approximately an hour shooting time. For a studio session, an hour is quite a long time – there was no rush and we worked through a number of different lighting styles.
