Tracy is carrying twin boys and was just short of 32 weeks. She’s a friend/colleague of Greig Middlemiss (Different Light Photography) and it was really good of Greig to recommend me to her.
Fortunately the howling winds and wildly changeable weather didn’t deter Tracy from driving through from East Kilbride to our studio in Livingston.
It would have been nice to have included Tracy’s partner, but this was a fun solo shoot with some truly lovely shots. Luckily, Tracy wasn’t feeling (especially) uncomfortable and not at all shy about baring her bump which made the shoot much more relaxed for all of us.

Shooting pregnancy photographs earlier than 32 weeks is slightly unusual, but since Tracy is carrying twins she’s larger a little bit earlier. It it is a one-off opportunity (unless you’re planning more kids), so it’s better to book a shoot for earlier in the third trimester.
I was particularly lucky to have Fiona available to assist for this shoot (she generally knows what I want done with reflectors before I do).
You should see more of Tracy (or more specifically the boys) here in a few weeks time…
